Members in London should now have received their voting packs for the election of the new editor of the NUJ’s magazine – The Journalist. London Central Branch discussed the election last night.
The Branch wants to encourage members to vote and to do so quickly due to the possibility of the Royal Mail dispute holding up the return of postal ballots. A strong turn-out in this election will strengthen the new editor’s position.

The election has already received quite a bit of attention in the industry press, including the Press Gazette and Hold the Front Page.
